However we wouldn't recommend placing it in rooms with high exposure to these substances as they can cause serious damage. The great thing about real wood is the ability to be sanded down multiple times depending upon its thickness to remove any stains or scratches. This should not be done for the first 15-20years. Imagine how long these floors can last!

Luxury Vinyl Tiles

LVT offers many benefits, including a more convincing imitation than real wood. LVT is water, scratch, stain and scratch resistant. This is very useful if you are in a busy household. Many have a texture to make them feel and look real wood.

Another thing to note about LVT is its ability to preserve real wood's incredible durability. LVT is extremely durable and suitable for commercial and high-foot traffic areas. LVT can also be used with underfloor heating. There are no negatives to it!

Laminate

Laminate flooring is the cheapest option and great for first time buyers. Laminate also imitates natural materials such real wood, stone and tile so you can get that authentic look.
